Matt has extensive experience in middle market sponsored and unsponsored credit. Prior to EPC, he spent 2 years as a VP with Firmament investing up and down the capital structure via senior debt, junior debt, and preferred equity. Over the 7 years prior to that, Matt led transactions in Capital One’s TMT Sponsor Finance group, including oversight as SVP Team Leader of a $1 billion portfolio of ARR and telecom infrastructure loans. Matt began his career in lending with GE Capital, as an analyst/associate in Healthcare Sponsor Finance.

Matt is a CFA Charter holder with an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in economics from Hamilton College.
