Eric has over 15 years of credit experience in Software and Recurring Revenue lending, primarily for sponsor-backed transactions. Prior to Encina Private Credit, Eric held senior roles in the Technology Finance groups at PNC Business Credit, where he grew and managed the Underwriting team, and at City National Bank, providing credit and portfolio coverage for the Southwest region. Eric was previously an underwriter at Wells Fargo Capital Finance on their Technology Finance team, dating back to when the group was formerly established in 2006. He also served as a VP at MUFG Union Bank in their Specialized Industries division and at Navigant Capital Advisors as a valuation consultant. Eric received his BA in Economics from Occidental College and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
