Steven Wagnblas is Chief Risk Officer at Encina Private Credit with over 25 years of diversified financial services experience.  Prior to joining Encina in 2023, Steven worked at GE Capital for over 25 years and served in a variety of senior risk management roles, rising to the level of Chief Credit Officer and Chief Risk Officer.  Steven has experience across multiple platforms and products from deal origination underwriting, portfolio, and workout through all corporate risk management responsibilities.  Platform expertise includes sponsor & leveraged finance, general cash flow, asset based, healthcare, franchise, equipment lending, leasing and asset management, captive finance on a domestic and international basis.  Prior to joining GE Capital Steven worked in roles in both public and corporate accounting.

Steven holds a B.S. in Accounting from Southern CT State University.
